Delete your SparesHub buyer or seller account

Users of the SparesHub buyer app, the SparesHub seller app or SparesHub.com may request permanent deletion of their account and the personal data held with it by submitting a request on this page.

Please give the mobile number or email address registered with your SparesHub account. We may contact you to verify that the account is yours before we process the request. On verification we delete or anonymise the personal data associated with your account, except the information we are required to keep for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, transaction or dispute-resolution purposes.

Which account is it?

We reply to every request with the same acknowledgement and never confirm on this page whether an account exists, so nobody can use it to look up another business.

What gets deleted

Once we have verified that the account is yours, we delete or anonymise:

  • Your name, mobile number, email address and login credentials
  • Business name, GSTIN and contact-person details held on your profile
  • Saved billing, delivery and pickup addresses
  • Uploaded documents — KYC papers, cancelled cheque, bank details
  • Personal details inside enquiries, quotations and chat messages, which are anonymised
  • Device and push-notification identifiers, and your account identifiers

The login stops working, the account cannot be recovered, and you are free to register again later with the same mobile number or email address.

What we have to keep

Indian law does not let us erase everything. These records are retained, and are used only for the purpose that requires them — never for marketing, profiling or recommendations:

  • Invoices, GST and accounting records — kept for 8 financial years, as Indian tax law requires
  • Completed transaction and payment records, including settlements and refunds
  • Dispute, claim and warranty records for as long as the matter can be raised
  • Fraud-prevention and platform-security records
  • Anything a court, tax authority or regulator requires us to keep

Where a record must be kept but no longer needs to identify you, we anonymise it so it can no longer be linked back to you.

How the request is processed

  1. 1You submit this form, or email contact@spareshub.com from the address registered with the account.
  2. 2We verify ownership — usually a call or an email to the registered contact. We do this within 7 working days.
  3. 3On verification, personal data is deleted or anonymised and the account is closed. Verified requests are completed within 30 days.
  4. 4We confirm in writing once it is done, and tell you which records were retained and why.

Already signed in? You can raise the same request from inside the app or portal — Buyer → My Account or Seller → Account settings, under “Delete my account”. If an order is still in progress we will finish or cancel it before closing the account.
