Shipping & Delivery Policy

Last updated: 22 August 2026

This Shipping & Delivery Policy ("Policy") applies to orders placed through SparesHub.com, operated by Iradium Automobiles Private Limited under the brand SparesHub ("SparesHub", "Company", "we", "us" or "our"). This Policy should be read together with the Terms of Use, Buyer Terms & Conditions, Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy, Seller Terms & Conditions and other applicable policies published on SparesHub.com. By placing an order through SparesHub.com, you agree to the terms of this Policy.

1. COMPANY DETAILS

Iradium Automobiles Private Limited
Brand: SparesHub
Website: SparesHub.com
Email: contact@spareshub.com
Phone: +91 78755 23381

2. SHIPPING COVERAGE

SparesHub currently facilitates domestic shipments within India only. Orders may be delivered to serviceable locations across India, subject to:

  • courier or transporter coverage;
  • product size and weight;
  • shipment category;
  • delivery PIN code;
  • local regulations;
  • transport restrictions; and
  • logistics feasibility.

Certain remote or difficult-to-service locations may require alternative transport arrangements or delivery to the nearest available transport hub.

3. HOW ORDERS MAY BE SHIPPED

Depending on the product, seller, delivery location and shipment size, orders may be shipped through:

  • courier companies;
  • express parcel operators;
  • surface transport companies;
  • part-load transporters;
  • logistics aggregators;
  • local delivery providers; or
  • other suitable logistics partners.

SparesHub may select the logistics provider considered commercially and operationally appropriate for an order.

4. MARKETPLACE SHIPPING MODEL

Products purchased through SparesHub.com may be supplied by:

  • SparesHub directly; or
  • approved third-party marketplace sellers.

Accordingly, shipments may originate from different cities, warehouses, dealerships, distributors or seller locations. A marketplace seller may ship directly to the buyer where authorised by SparesHub. The commercial transaction may nevertheless continue to be processed through SparesHub.

5. SHIPPING CHARGES

Shipping, freight, handling and other logistics charges may be:

  • included in the quotation;
  • shown separately;
  • calculated after packed dimensions are known;
  • payable by the buyer; or
  • borne by SparesHub depending on the specific quotation or commercial arrangement.

The applicable shipping charge will generally be communicated before final order confirmation wherever reasonably possible.

6. ESTIMATED SHIPPING CHARGES

For bulky, fragile, irregularly shaped or heavy automobile parts, the initial freight amount may be an estimate. Final charges can depend on:

  • actual packed weight;
  • volumetric weight;
  • dimensions;
  • number of packages;
  • destination;
  • transport mode;
  • special handling; and
  • transporter tariff.

Where there is a material difference between estimated and actual logistics cost, SparesHub may communicate the revised amount before dispatch.

7. VOLUMETRIC WEIGHT

Courier and logistics companies may calculate freight based on either:

  • actual weight; or
  • volumetric/dimensional weight, whichever is higher.

Large but lightweight automobile components may therefore attract freight charges based on package dimensions rather than physical weight.

8. ORDER PROCESSING TIME

Order processing time may include:

  • seller confirmation;
  • stock verification;
  • procurement;
  • payment verification;
  • part-number verification;
  • invoicing;
  • quality or quantity checks;
  • packaging; and
  • shipment booking.

Processing time is separate from transit time.

9. PROCUREMENT ORDERS

Some automobile spare parts may need to be procured from:

  • dealerships;
  • distributors;
  • manufacturers;
  • suppliers; or
  • other stock locations after the order is confirmed.

The delivery estimate for such products may therefore include both procurement time and transportation time.

10. DELIVERY ESTIMATES

Any dispatch date, transit time or expected delivery date shown or communicated by SparesHub is generally an estimated timeline unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Delivery estimates may change due to circumstances including:

  • supplier delays;
  • dealership delays;
  • manufacturer availability;
  • seller processing delays;
  • courier or transporter delays;
  • route disruptions;
  • weather;
  • strikes;
  • natural disasters;
  • festivals or holidays;
  • regulatory restrictions;
  • destination accessibility; and
  • force majeure events.

11. NO GUARANTEED DELIVERY DATE

Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, delivery timelines do not constitute guaranteed delivery commitments. SparesHub will make reasonable efforts to facilitate delivery but cannot guarantee the performance of independent courier companies, transporters or other logistics providers.

12. DISPATCH CONFIRMATION

Where available, the buyer may receive shipment information such as:

  • courier name;
  • transporter name;
  • AWB number;
  • LR number;
  • tracking number;
  • dispatch date; or
  • tracking link.

Tracking availability depends on the logistics provider used. Traditional transport companies may provide an LR number instead of online real-time tracking.

13. PART SHIPMENTS

An order containing multiple products may be fulfilled from different sellers, suppliers or locations. Accordingly, SparesHub may divide an order into multiple shipments. Different items from the same order may therefore:

  • be dispatched on different dates;
  • arrive through different logistics providers; and
  • be delivered separately.

Partial shipment does not mean that the remaining products have been cancelled unless expressly communicated.

14. DELIVERY ADDRESS

The buyer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, including:

  • consignee name;
  • business or garage name where applicable;
  • address;
  • locality;
  • city;
  • state;
  • PIN code;
  • mobile number; and
  • any relevant delivery instructions.

SparesHub is not responsible for delay or loss caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information provided by the buyer.

15. CHANGE OF DELIVERY ADDRESS

Requests to change the delivery address should be made before dispatch. Once a shipment has been booked or dispatched, address modification may:

  • be unavailable;
  • cause delay; or
  • attract additional logistics charges.

SparesHub cannot guarantee that a delivery address can be changed after dispatch.

16. DELIVERY TO TRANSPORT OFFICE OR GODOWN

Certain large, heavy or commercial shipments may be sent through road transport companies rather than doorstep courier networks. In such cases, delivery may be made to:

  • the transporter's local branch;
  • godown;
  • warehouse;
  • delivery office; or
  • nearest serviceable transport location.

The buyer may be required to collect the shipment from that location. This will ordinarily be communicated where relevant.

17. DOOR DELIVERY

Door delivery is subject to the logistics provider's serviceability and operating rules. Where door delivery is unavailable, additional local transport or pickup arrangements may be required. Any additional charges may be borne according to the terms of the applicable order.

18. TO-PAY FREIGHT

Where specifically agreed, a shipment may be booked on a freight-to-pay or to-pay basis. In such cases, the buyer must pay the transporter directly at the time of delivery or collection. The amount collected by the transporter may be subject to the transporter's final freight calculation.

19. PREPAID FREIGHT

Where freight has been collected by SparesHub as part of the order, SparesHub may arrange prepaid transportation. Additional charges arising solely due to buyer-requested changes or failed delivery may still be recoverable from the buyer.

20. PACKAGING

Products will be packaged by SparesHub, the marketplace seller, supplier or authorised dispatch location as applicable. Reasonable packaging methods may include:

  • cartons;
  • bubble wrap;
  • protective wrapping;
  • corrugated packaging;
  • wooden crates;
  • pallets;
  • protective fillers; or
  • other suitable materials.

Packaging depends on the nature of the automobile component and transportation method.

21. LARGE, FRAGILE AND BODY PARTS

Certain automotive parts require special handling, including:

  • bumpers;
  • bonnets;
  • fenders;
  • doors;
  • windshields;
  • glass components;
  • lamps;
  • body panels;
  • radiators;
  • large plastic components; and
  • other oversized products.

Such products may:

  • attract higher freight;
  • require special packing;
  • take longer to dispatch;
  • have limited courier availability; or
  • require surface transport.

22. LIQUIDS, BATTERIES AND RESTRICTED SHIPMENTS

Certain products may be subject to courier or transportation restrictions due to their nature. Examples may include:

  • batteries;
  • oils;
  • fluids;
  • aerosols;
  • pressurised products;
  • chemicals; and
  • other regulated or restricted materials.

SparesHub may decline shipment, change the mode of transport or require special arrangements where applicable.

23. DELIVERY RECEIPT

The buyer or authorised recipient should inspect the external condition of the shipment at the time of receipt wherever reasonably possible. Signing a courier or transporter proof of delivery may indicate receipt of the parcel but does not necessarily eliminate rights relating to concealed damage or an incorrect product, subject to the applicable return policy.

24. VISIBLE DAMAGE AT DELIVERY

Where a shipment is visibly damaged, torn, crushed, wet, opened or tampered with, the buyer should wherever possible:

  • photograph the package before opening;
  • record video evidence;
  • inform the courier or transporter;
  • note the damage on the delivery receipt or LR where possible; and
  • contact SparesHub promptly.

25. UNBOXING VIDEO

For valuable, fragile, electronic or multi-item shipments, buyers are strongly advised to record a continuous unboxing video from before opening the sealed package until all contents have been inspected. This evidence can materially assist with claims involving:

  • transit damage;
  • shortage;
  • missing products;
  • wrong products; or
  • tampering.

26. REPORTING SHIPPING ISSUES

Issues involving:

  • visible transit damage;
  • missing items;
  • shortage;
  • wrong shipment; or
  • materially damaged packaging

should be reported to SparesHub within 48 hours of delivery. The buyer should provide supporting photographs, videos and shipment details. Claims will be handled under the applicable Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy.

27. TRANSIT DAMAGE

Where transit damage is reported, SparesHub may investigate with:

  • the marketplace seller;
  • courier company;
  • transporter;
  • warehouse;
  • insurer where applicable; or
  • other relevant parties.

Buyers must retain: the product; original packaging; labels; invoice; shipping label; and supporting evidence until the claim is resolved.

28. DELIVERY SHORTAGE

Where a buyer claims that a shipment is incomplete, SparesHub may review:

  • package weight;
  • seller packing records;
  • warehouse records;
  • shipping documents;
  • photographs;
  • video evidence;
  • courier records; and
  • other available evidence.

29. FAILED DELIVERY

Delivery may fail due to reasons including:

  • recipient unavailable;
  • incorrect address;
  • incorrect telephone number;
  • recipient refusing shipment;
  • premises closed;
  • consignee relocating;
  • destination being inaccessible; or
  • non-payment of to-pay freight.

The logistics provider may make additional attempts depending on its own policy.

30. RE-DELIVERY CHARGES

Where a shipment is returned or requires redelivery due to circumstances attributable to the buyer, the buyer may be required to pay:

  • return freight;
  • rebooking charges;
  • re-dispatch freight;
  • storage charges; or
  • other actual logistics expenses.

31. REFUSED DELIVERY

A buyer should not refuse an authorised shipment merely because the buyer has changed their mind or no longer requires the product. Refusing delivery does not automatically constitute an approved cancellation. Where the shipment is returned due to unauthorised refusal, applicable freight, return and cancellation costs may be deducted or recovered subject to applicable law.

32. RETURN TO ORIGIN

A shipment may be returned to origin ("RTO") where delivery cannot be completed. Where RTO occurs due to buyer-related circumstances, SparesHub may require payment of additional freight before re-dispatch. Where RTO results from a logistics or seller error, SparesHub will review the matter and take appropriate corrective action.

33. STORAGE AND DEMURRAGE

Transport companies may impose:

  • storage charges;
  • demurrage;
  • godown charges; or
  • parcel-holding fees

if shipments are not collected within their specified period. Such charges arising because the buyer failed to collect or receive the shipment may be payable by the buyer.

34. LOSS IN TRANSIT

If a logistics provider confirms that a prepaid shipment has been lost in transit, SparesHub will investigate and determine the appropriate remedy according to:

  • the transaction structure;
  • shipping arrangement;
  • available insurance;
  • transporter liability;
  • payment status; and
  • applicable law.

The remedy may include replacement or refund where appropriate.

35. LOGISTICS INSURANCE

Transit insurance may or may not be included in every shipment. Insurance availability depends on:

  • logistics provider;
  • shipment value;
  • product category;
  • shipping method; and
  • commercial arrangement.

A buyer should not assume that a shipment is insured unless expressly stated.

36. THIRD-PARTY TRANSPORTERS

Courier companies and transport operators are independent service providers. Although SparesHub may arrange logistics, actual transportation may be performed by third parties. SparesHub cannot guarantee that a third-party provider will meet every estimated timeline or service commitment.

37. BUYER-ARRANGED TRANSPORT

Where the buyer chooses or independently arranges a transporter, courier or pickup agent, responsibility for transportation may transfer according to the agreed commercial terms once the goods are handed over to the buyer's nominated provider. Any such arrangement should be confirmed before dispatch.

38. SELF-PICKUP

SparesHub may permit self-pickup for certain orders where operationally feasible. Pickup will be allowed only after confirmation from SparesHub. The buyer should not visit a seller, supplier, warehouse or other location without prior authorisation.

39. SELLER-ARRANGED SHIPPING

In some marketplace transactions, an approved seller may arrange shipping. The seller remains responsible for complying with applicable SparesHub shipping requirements and providing shipment information. Any dispute will be reviewed under the Platform's applicable policies.

40. CONFIDENTIAL MARKETPLACE SHIPPING

Where SparesHub operates a double-blind marketplace model, sellers may be required to ship goods without:

  • promotional inserts;
  • personal business cards;
  • seller pricing information;
  • unauthorised contact information; or
  • other material intended to bypass SparesHub.

Buyers should communicate transaction-related issues through SparesHub.

41. ORDER TRACKING

Where online tracking is available, tracking information may not update immediately after dispatch. There may be a delay between:

  • physical pickup;
  • carrier scanning;
  • manifest creation; and
  • tracking activation.

Traditional road transporters may not provide real-time tracking.

42. PROOF OF DELIVERY

SparesHub or its logistics partners may retain delivery evidence such as:

  • recipient signature;
  • OTP confirmation;
  • delivery photograph;
  • transporter receipt;
  • POD;
  • electronic delivery status; or
  • other confirmation.

Such records may be used when investigating delivery disputes.

43. DEEMED DELIVERY

Where reliable courier or transporter records indicate successful delivery, SparesHub may treat an order as delivered unless the buyer promptly raises a legitimate delivery dispute. SparesHub may seek supporting evidence from the logistics provider.

44. FORCE MAJEURE

SparesHub will not be responsible for shipping delays or failures caused by events outside its reasonable control, including:

  • natural disasters;
  • floods;
  • severe weather;
  • epidemics;
  • government restrictions;
  • war;
  • civil unrest;
  • strikes;
  • transport disruption;
  • road closure;
  • regulatory action;
  • telecommunications failure; or
  • other force majeure events.

45. CANCELLATION DURING SHIPPING

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible. A request made after dispatch will ordinarily be handled under the applicable Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy rather than as a pre-dispatch cancellation.

46. REFUNDS RELATED TO SHIPPING

Any refund resulting from:

  • lost shipment;
  • damaged shipment;
  • wrong delivery;
  • return;
  • cancellation; or
  • other logistics issue

will be handled according to the Cancellation, Return and Refund Policy and applicable transaction terms. Shipping charges may or may not be refundable depending on the reason for the refund.

47. BUYER RESPONSIBILITIES

The buyer is responsible for:

  • providing correct delivery information;
  • ensuring recipient availability;
  • answering logistics-provider calls;
  • collecting shipments from transport offices where applicable;
  • paying to-pay freight where agreed;
  • inspecting packages promptly;
  • reporting issues within the applicable period; and
  • retaining packaging and supporting evidence for claims.

48. SELLER RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketplace sellers are responsible for:

  • shipping the correct product;
  • packing appropriately;
  • providing accurate weights and dimensions;
  • meeting promised dispatch timelines;
  • providing valid documentation;
  • cooperating with logistics providers; and
  • maintaining shipment evidence.

Seller failure may result in marketplace consequences under the Seller Terms & Conditions.

49. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SparesHub will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from shipping delays or logistics issues, including:

  • vehicle downtime;
  • loss of business;
  • lost profits;
  • labour idle time;
  • alternate transport costs;
  • customer penalties; or
  • other consequential commercial losses.

Nothing in this Policy excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

50. POLICY CHANGES

SparesHub may revise this Shipping & Delivery Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:

  • marketplace operations;
  • courier arrangements;
  • transporter relationships;
  • product categories;
  • technology;
  • regulations; or
  • applicable law.

The updated Policy will be published on SparesHub.com. The version applicable to an order will generally be the version in effect when that order was placed, subject to applicable legal requirements.

51. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

This Policy is governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory rights and jurisdiction available under applicable law, courts having jurisdiction in Pune, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to this Policy.
